After a very protracted email back and forth with the recruiter (it took her weeks to reply to emails, even to confirm a time to talk - she was mostly concerned if I lived near a major airport?), I was moved on to meet with the hiring manager. She seemed perplexed at the idea that other industries outside of manufacturing do regional marketing. Overall, an average interview, but I got the sense I was not what they were looking for - they didn’t seem interested in hiring someone outside the manufacturing space. This turned out to be accurate since they ghosted me, and I never heard from the recruiter again. Not the worst experience, but very dragged out for no reason.
