      New Graduate Engineer Interview

      Mar 28, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Shell in Mar 2016

      Interview

The interviewer was very friendly. The format of the interview was behaviour based questions and situation based questions which was to be expected. Nothing technical during the interview. I felt some of the questions were a little hard to find situations for. Near the end of the interview I was asked "Why Shell?" and "Why the energy industry?" Those are questions that you want to be sure to have concise answers for as they're your last impression.

      Question 1

Name a time when you had to be more culturally sensitive than typical. Name a time when you have to change your approach with someone/something in order to solve a problem? Name a time you faced a challenge, how did you overcome it, what did you learn?
