The interviewers were really friendly throughout the process, which made it a comfortable experience. I found the questions to be generally not too difficult, leaning more towards behavioral scenarios rather than deep technical dives. The overall hiring process did take a couple of months from start to finish

I did two rounds before receiving a rejection: one was half an hour phone screen with a recruiter who asked some basic questions and did some due diligence. This was followed by a hour long interview on past technical experience with a hiring manager.

The interview process started well. Initially, I had a phone screening with the recruiter, who was friendly, easy to talk to, and provided all the necessary information. The next step was a conversation with the hiring manager, which was equally pleasant. It was a relaxed and candid discussion, and he mentioned at the end that he would arrange the next round of interviews, which would be technical. He assured me he would inform the recruiter to set it up. I sent a thank you note to the hiring manager the following day. After a few days without any response from the recruiter, I reached out to provide my availability for the following week, hoping to expedite the process. Unfortunately, I received no reply. Almost two weeks passed without any communication. At this point, I wasn't optimistic about moving forward, but I still wanted a response. I emailed again, providing my availability and requesting an update. They finally replied, informing me they had moved forward with another candidate. While Shipt seems like a great company to work for, my experience with their interview process was disappointing.
