I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Siemens (Singapore) in May 2013
Interview
2 rounds of interview - assessment centre and panel interview
The first day consists of an assessment centre where candidates are put into groups to give a 10-min presentation with 30 minutes of preparation time. Q&A would follow though they are of no relevance to the presentation, but centred more on what you have learnt from working in a group. This is followed by a lunch reception where you will get to interact with current Siemens staff who are also your assessors.
After lunch, you are put through tests that assess the candidates on numerical skills, pattern recognition, general knowledge, and also how well they know the company. There is also an essay test that would require candidates to suggest improvements for the company.
The second and final round is held on a separate day. It consists of a panel interview where questions are behavioural based and mainly revolve around the candidate's work or academic experience. Before the actual interview, candidates are required to introduce themselves in one minute. The panel consists of employees from the particular division that the candidate is interviewing for.
I was invited for the video interview. it is self-recording based. There are around 6 frequently-asked questions are asked. You will have time to prepare. Can start recording whenever you are ready.
