I went through two Skype interviews back in February and everyone was very clear, very professional, very helpful and I felt comfortable and supported throughout the process.
My recruiter got back to me to tell me I'd been unsuccessful at this time. This happens and isn't why my review is neutral.
I was asked would I be interested in essentially being on a waiting list. I wouldn't have to be interviewed again and would go straight into the file the next time they had the ability to hire which I was told was Q2. It's July now and I heard nothing back, despite pushing the recruiter at various points until eventually I gave up and saw they had risk analyst roles going again.
I can see as a company they now have their own recruiter so I hope what happened to me, being on the hook for a job I thought was coming and turning down other opportunities only to leave clueless for three months despite making an effort to reach out doesn't happen again.
I don't know if this blip was caused by the recruiter signifyd were using at the time or them directly but this was a bad experience.
Future candidates should be okay now they handle their own recruitment but I thought it needed to be mentioned somewhere. Please don't keep candidates on a fictional hook for a job that doesn't exist just in case.
Thank you.
