I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Silicon Valley Bank (Newton, MA) in Oct 2014
Interview
While the initial stages of the process were handled professionally, after the super day of interviews (for me, 5 interviews and a writing sample) they were not at all forthcoming with timelines regarding the next step, and when they did give timelines they were repeatedly broken with no explanation offered unless directly asked for (this happened 3 times with me personally). While I hope/imagine that this was all because I was ultimately rejected, I would strongly advise anyone applying to SVB- they will lie to you regarding the timeline process, and no news is invariably bad news with them.

Interview
Went through the process but was not selected. Started off with an HR interview. After that there was three more interviews with a variety of different people. Mostly fit based questions but some technical ones relating to credit.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Silicon Valley Bank (London, England) in Nov 2023
Interview
First interview was with hiring manager who was asking competency-based and motivational questions to assess candidates motivation applying for the program, for instance how skills from relevant experience would benefit them in the program. Then followed last stage assessment centre, where all candidates were given P&L case study and were asked questions afterwards, then followed 3 rounds of interviews with senior management who were asking mainly value-based questions and some of them were situational questions meaning that how candidate would act in a certain job situation
