1 hour interview consisting of case-solving and personal questions. Standard market sizing case and very standard interview questions regarding work history and personal qualities. Had friends interviewing as well and we all had a bit different interview experiences mainly regarding the personal side where some had it more general in focus of consulting and Simon-Kucher.

Important question to have an answer to is why you want to be a consultant and why especially at this company since you will always get this question.
The interview process consists of an initial round of brief introductory questions, followed by a presentation in English that candidates are expected to prepare in advance, and a case study. This entire process is conducted twice, each time with different consultants.

Warum ist Simon Kucher der richtige Ort für mich um zu wachsen
Das Bewerbungsverfahren bestand aus zwei Gesprächsrunden. Die erste Runde war ein klassisches HR-Interview mit Fragen zu Motivation, Lebenslauf und Erwartungen an das Praktikum. In der zweiten Runde folgte ein Case Interview mit Fokus auf Marktgröße, Pricing-Strategie und strukturiertem Denken. Besonders wichtig war es, strukturiert vorzugehen, Hypothesen aufzustellen und die eigene Denkweise klar zu kommunizieren. Der Gesprächston war insgesamt professionell, aber sehr freundlich und offen.
