I applied online. I interviewed at Simpson Thacher (New York, NY) in Feb 2025
Interview
I had a total of 6 rounds of interviews for the Financial Business Intelligence Analyst role. The process was long and demanding, but I made it through to the final round. Despite the time and effort I invested, I ultimately received no offer and no feedback — I was completely ghosted after the final round.
It’s disappointing to be left without any communication after such an extensive process. I hope the firm can improve their hiring process by providing timely feedback and not leaving candidates in the dark. Wasting candidates' time like this shows a lack of respect and professionalism.

Questions about past experience, standard behavioral questions
Second round interview involves asking very technical questions about M&A processes, governance rights and transaction documents. All questions were hypothetical technical questions - not really about your experience; it's about whether you are familiar with the field you are going into.
