I applied online. I interviewed at Sixt (Munich, Bavaria) in Jun 2019
Interview
First-round is talking with HR. Questions as follows;
1 - What do you know about Sixt?
2 - What is your motivation to join Sixt?
3 - What is your expected salary?
4 - What do you think about Kotlin?
and other possible questions related to your CV. They are looking for weaknesses.
Second-round is a challenge which is an android application consist of map and list. You need to consume provided API and polish the UI. I would recommend following modular MVVM concept which is scalable.
The third round is an interview with developers. They are following modular architecture to use App Bundle, Dynamic Features so please expect to have a question about those technologies. In addition, questions may come related to architecture, activity flags, location permissions, what is new in android SDK. They are quite cool guys so be relaxed.
The fourth round is meeting with HR and team manager. Some questions as follows;
1 - What you are passionate about android?
2 - Are you negative or positive when working?
3 - How do you handle conflicts?
4 - Why we should hire you?
5 - What you can add to our team?
6 - What/How is the best android application for you?
7 - What would your previous colleagues or friends tell about you?
8 - Any question for us?
+ questions related to CV.
Problems about their process;
1 - I guess it is hard to find the conference room at Sixt. During my third interview, interviewer stops the interview and they moved to another room which they are unable to open their camera. Somebody see you and ask questions but you are not able to see them, it was not easy for me. My performance affected at that time
2 - During the fourth interview they joined the call 10 minutes late and their camera was off. They asked me to open my camera. Communication without a camera is not easy.
3 - HR said to me that she will return to me on Wednesday but there is no answer yet.
