I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines (Bloomington, MN) in Dec 2012
Interview
Open House interview can be with hundreds of other applicants. It's an 8-hour process. They ask you questions, have you introduce yourself in front of the group and explain why you want to be a flight attendant. It could be nerve-wracking if you aren't comfortable speaking in front of people, but you must! If you're a flight attendant, you will be talking in front of passengers every day.
Everyone is dressed well and you will see some people who know the business well because they are flight attendants in other airlines, but don't be worried about that. They look for confidence, a friendly attitude, and your smile.
