Many people have described the process to a T. Most important part of the 1 minute question/answer speech is to follow the unspoken rules. Do not mention where you are from, your family, your age, that you love to fly or that you love people. And most importantly, do not go over your 1 minute time limit. Practice your speech but do not take notes with you when it is your turn. Start with your name and thank them for the time to introduce yourself. Smile and speak clearly for all to hear. Dress the part for the job you want. Once the group interview is completed, they will put a list on the door of the candidates that will proceed to the f2f. If your name is not on the list you can attend the group interview again in 90 days. 1st time around for me, I broke the rules without knowing them. The second time I made it to the F2F and was told they would notify me in 2 weeks either way. 2 weeks passed without an email...but it finally came on day 19. So if your waiting, try not to panic like I almost did. If you really want it, do not give up! Practice your 1 minute speech with a friend but remember, they can tell if it sounds like you memorized it and it may make it sound fake. Be yourself and no matter what, smile and speak up! One more thing, if you have a color streak in your hair, hide it or change it before the interview. In both sessions I attended these ladies did not make the F2F.
