Interview
I met with a technical recruiter for about an hour to see if there was a culture fit. They followed up promplty with a phone interview.
The process took approximately 2 weeks. They were very professional, prompt and got back to me fairly quickly. The people I met seemed to genuinely like the company.

Question 1
The phone interview lasted 30-40m.
The first part consisted of going over general CS theory, and basic algorithms and data structure questions, basic OOP concepts, but mostly questions on general web development. They're a web-development company, and seemed to be less concerned with algorithms, so the emphasis was on prior experience with javascript, and the various frameworks, node.js, angular, and any back-end experience. There wasn't any particular technology, but seemed more interested in overall breadth of web experience.

The recruiters were great. However, in my opinion, the tech screeners lost all interest once they saw that I am over 40. Additionally, the tech screening case was sent to me 20 minutes before the interview. To be fair, they might have been trying to gauge how well I can think on my toes, but I found that to be unusual.

I had a great interview process! Recruiter was very responsive and the people I interviewed with were awesome. I was told I got positive feedback from the interviewers but they aren’t hiring for the position until the find a director for the team. I feel like it was a way to tell me they aren’t interested.
