I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Slalom (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2018
Interview
Slalom is definitely a company that emphasizes a lot on cultural fit. It shows during the entire interviewing process.
For me, the entire process was enjoyable. After I applied online through Slalom website, I received an email within a day, asking me to fill out a questionnaire and confirming my interest in attending an informational interview.
I went to the informational interview, thinking that it will be one-on-one with a recruiter. It turned out to be more like a group interview. Despite the apparent lack of preparation from Slalom, the informational interview provided me a lot of interactions with both recruiters and the managers of the EMO team.
I received an invitation for a formal interview within a day after the informational interview. This time, the interview was schedule for 2 hours, rotating through 4 different groups. The questions were very standard and typical. If you google 50 common interview questions, I probably got asked at least 25 of them. As mentioned, cultural fit was repeatedly emphasized in my interview. Questions about workplace came up a lot.
