I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Slalom (Boston, MA) in Mar 2018
Interview
First they called you for 1 hour to talk and give you rapid fire software engineering, data structure, c++, oop, questions including like inheritance vs polymorphism. The second round will be to invite you in on an onsite, I had the fib recursion question with database questions (sql), then I had a behavioral one. I think they put a lot of emphasis on the behavior, be curious, learn about the company, and be genuine. Great experience, they were quick and transparent!!!
Happy to hear we were quick and transparent and focused as much on your skills and knowledge as your behaviors and curiosities, and that all contributed to an overall positive experience - just what we aim for! Thank you for the detailed feedback - we appreciate your time and input!
Other Software Engineer Interview Reviews for Slalom
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Slalom in May 2022
Interview
The recruiters were great. However, in my opinion, the tech screeners lost all interest once they saw that I am over 40. Additionally, the tech screening case was sent to me 20 minutes before the interview. To be fair, they might have been trying to gauge how well I can think on my toes, but I found that to be unusual.

First-round with HR, very helpful and friendly.
Two rounds of technical interviews, one is more focused on coding and CS knowledge in general, the other is more conversational with BQ and working experience.

Interview
I had a great interview process! Recruiter was very responsive and the people I interviewed with were awesome. I was told I got positive feedback from the interviewers but they aren’t hiring for the position until the find a director for the team. I feel like it was a way to tell me they aren’t interested.
