I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2010
Interview
Process was very fast to get toward the offer. I think it helped having big 4 experience because we were all on the same level. The process was not clearly defined though my recruiter did a fantastic job of keeping me looped in every step of the way.

The unexpected questions that I received were about my personal life such as hobbies, interests outside of consulting, etc. It was refreshing. Nothing too personal, mind you. I was pleasantly surprised that Slalom cared about the type of person I was inside and outside of work
Recruiter screening focused on background and fit, followed by a hiring manager interview assessing technical and consulting skills, and a final director round evaluating strategic thinking, communication, and overall alignment.

Interview
Initial HR interview then interview with hiring manager and then never heard again from the company. Reached out multiple times for follow up on whether moving forward or not, and never got a response. Job posting still on.
5 or 6 rounds, including a technical screening panel interview. Role-based questions and specific scenarios. Met with various practice leaders and engagement leads. The whole process took about 6 weeks.
