This for a an MSR position in the Lending department.
My experience with the interview process was disappointing and unprofessional. It began with a phone screening scheduled with a recruiter. Unfortunately, the recruiter failed to notify me that the screening had been rescheduled, leaving me waiting for half an hour without any updates. I had to reach out proactively via email to discover the change, only to be incorrectly told I had been informed.
After completing the screening, I was scheduled for a virtual interview with two department heads. The interview consisted of standard "Tell us about a time ___" questions. The interviewers were straight-laced and provided no feedback on whether my answers were satisfactory, which left the overall tone impersonal and unengaging.
The recruiter mentioned during the phone screening that decisions are typically made within 48 hours. However, nearly a month has passed, and I have received no communication regarding the outcome of my application, not even a rejection. Despite following up with the recruiter for clarity, I have yet to receive any response.
This lack of communication and accountability reflects poorly on the company's professionalism. It felt like a significant waste of my time and energy.
