I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sodexo (Blackwood, NJ) in Sep 2012
Interview
It was onsite & face to face 11yrs ago when I was hired. Now I'm told you have to get a "URL-link" upon submitting your written application, then take a short personally quiz to get a code sent to mgr who will then call you regarding your placement.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about my experience and intentions regarding my future plans for employment opportunities.
Very respectful and welcoming interviewers, They definitely seemed like career Sodexo heads, A lot of Kool-Aid on their lips, but they didn’t come across as insincere. If if they could’ve matched my current salary, I probably would’ve taken the job.
Very structured and oddly formal panel interview with 4 people. It lasted an hot and 15 minutes and appeared scripted/rehearsed. Lots of cliche ‘tell me about a time’ type questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Sodexo (Washington, DC) in Dec 2023
Interview
One of the worst interview experiences in a while. I applied and then a month and half later I was contacted by the recruiter. After that interview, it took them almost three weeks to get back to me on next steps. I completed what I was told is the final interview right before XMAS, but then they wanted to speak to me again two days after XMAS. It took them three additional weeks to make a decision, and they hired the internal candidate. Why did an executive in the company waist my time, when they knew they were going to hire the internal candidate?
