Sonos Software Engineer interview questions

Spoke with a recruiter over the phone for 30 minutes. Had a follow up Zoom call with the hiring manager a week later. Technical questions were asked. To be fair, given this was my 2nd interview ever and I hadn't gone back and reviewed enough programming fundamentals from college. Foolishly thought Id be ask about how I did my job but I've since learned that's not its done these days. That's my mistake and it's not reflected in my review. I sent a thank you note to the interviewer but didn't receive any further correspondence. They completely ghosted me. I don't care how much you are disinterested in a candidate, you, as the recruiter, OWE a response. It was completely unprofessional behavior. This is why I'm rating my experience as negative. That's fair given the circumstances.

The interviewer wants me to write some basic methods in a system they already built. And asked me some technical questions. The process was really good. The interviewer likes to communicate with you and you can discuss what you want.
