I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Southern New Hampshire University (Manchester, NH)
Interview
Met with each member of the team before I was offered the position. Was asked more about ideas than about why I left my previous position which is great! Was told about special projects and the opportunities to advance.

Question 1
The most difficult questions dealt with having to continuously having to prove myself during each phase of the interviews.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Southern New Hampshire University (Anchorage, AK) in Sep 2022
Interview
I applied online. The process took less than 2 weeks. First, I completed a virtual video. Next, I was invited to participate in a Zoom style panel interview. The panelists were a bit snooty, but cordial. All of these gatekeepers were the same giving me the impression that there is little diversity in this department or in the school as a whole. Although the interview was thought-provoking, it was minimally invasive. I was able to argue my case by showcasing my skills, experience, and ideology for the job. Even though I believed the interview went fairly well, I had the overall suspicion that I wasn't their type of candidate. My intuition was correct because 2 days later I received the standard rejection letter.
I really wish companies like this would be more forthright in describing the type of people they're looking to hire so that they don't waste anyone's time going through the song and dance of an interview knowing in the end that you aren't interested in diversifying the team. There's really no need to pretend you're interested in broadening the workforce. Please, let the recruiters know the type you're looking for so that they can filter out those who don't fit into the mold.
