I applied online. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines in Dec 2022
Interview
It was in December 2022, and they were skipping straight to face to face interviews. I came in and they briefed us, and then took us all separately into a room. It was very laid back and comfortable. And immediately afterwards they said welcome to the team. I believe it has gone back to their regular process now. If you’re personable and really emphasize your care for hospitality over regular customer service you’ll probably do well. They ask what a misconception people have about you is. Make sure whatever this is, that is reflects well on you. I said although I value my alone time and consider myself an introvert, my friends call me an extrovert because I can turn it on around people and genuinely love working with people etc. Good luck
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell us about yourself? (Best opportunity to squeak in random tidbits you want them to know, I said I come from a big family so I learned young how to work in groups and compromise to keep the peace aka I was the peacemaker of the fam. Tried to make is funny and less braggy) What does hospitality mean to you? What is a misconception people have about you? Why would you be a good candidate, sell yourself.

Interview
So far, it has been moving at a great pace. I have only completed my on demand interview, and I am scheduled to attend my face to face in the near future! The online interview was great - be yourself, smile, and use the uninterrupted time to really express yourself! I'm very grateful for this opportunity and best of luck to all those applying!
