Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you design a frontend interface that displays a lot of data?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Splunk (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2021
Interview
The interview process is long and frustrated.
First round is with recruiter and hiring manager.
They gave you a take home, stating basic requirements and bonus functions.
They say it would only take couple hours to complete, but it never be the case.
It takes more than 10 days for HM to review and reject even all bonus points are met.
Interview overall is long time without response and time consuming.
Doesn’t worth the time and effort at all.
I applied online. I interviewed at Splunk in Sep 2019
Interview
Very bad for a company like Splunk.
It was a front end developer position. After speaking to the hiring manager she was happy I was a full-stack and had knowledge about backend languages like Node and Python specifically. Later had a technical interview and to my shock, all I was asked is HTML and CSS. I felt like a designer and not a developer interview. Offcourse I did not do good.
I checked her interviewers LinkedIn and all I could see is HTML and CSS related things.
Splunk can do far better.
