I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Spotify (New York, NY) in Mar 2015
Interview
Interviewer dove right in and I could notice him asking me questions while he was doing work and he was overall very unenthusiastic about the whole process. The entire interview felt like a big burden and didn't really feel like I belonged there even though I was contacted for this position which I did not want initially (applied for a different position). The interviewer seemed to not care about the person nor the interview which is confusing as I felt that Spotify would be more of a community.
If you conduct interviews, make sure the person interviewing actually wants to be there

Question 1
Fizzbuzz, unique method implementation using method calls
All interviews were conducted virtually with a few rounds including a phone screen, a case study, and behavioral type interview questions. I had a fun case study experience and great team introduction.
I applied online. I interviewed at Spotify (London, England)
Interview
Two interviews: one with the manager directly responsible for you and one with the team manager to who you indirectly report. It was a very smooth process with mostly behavioral questions and some case questions. The interviewers were very nice and made the situation very comfortable.
Had a call with a recruiter from New York on the phone, then two separate interviews with Heads of the relevant departments for the post. Received rejection through email with no feedback
