Interview
Really frustrating experience with this recruiter.
At the start, communication was very active. She called multiple times, seemed very engaged, and pushed things forward quickly. I ended up interviewing, including a technical round with the team manager and member.
During the interview, I was told I’d hear back within two weeks. When that passed, I followed up and was told I was still in the candidate pool and would get an update in another two weeks.
After that, nothing. It’s now been 5 weeks with complete silence. No update, no rejection, no closure.
What’s frustrating isn’t just the delay, it’s the lack of basic follow through. If timelines change, just say it. If im not qualified, just simply reject. Completely ghosting a candidate after that level of engagement is unprofessional and disrespectful of our time.
Recruiters represent the company they work for in the very beginning. If ghosting is the final step after promised timelines, it reflects how disrespectful the company as a whole is toward people.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at StandardAero in Sep 2025
Interview
Unscheduled phone screen after referral with standard questions. Said they would follow up later in the week however I received no call back. Reached out several times to get confirmation of rejection with no response. Exteremely unprofessional.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at StandardAero (Dallas, TX) in Sep 2014
Interview
Easy questions. Very low key. A friend of mine passed along my resume to the engineering lead. I got a call to come in and talk with the manager. Got a tour of the facility. Asked about my careers goals and what i would like to do.
