Staples Tech Sales Associate interview questions

I got hired a few months after 4 years ago. The core element of things should remain the same, but some things might not. You'll be brought to the managers office (or the furniture area) for your meeting and will be asked why you want to work there before you're told what they need from you. How you respond is how they will decide if they want you. Just be friendly and confident. That's the core of being a tech associate. Do know before going in, they want sellers. And more than just PC sales. They want upsellers. What can you sell on top of that PC. Because to be frank, that's what's more important to them. This position survives based on how many protection plans you sell.

Applied online. Called in for the interview. They send you some information about background checks and tax information. You must fill in a questionaire for the tax information. They do a background check through a third party.
