I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Starbucks (Garden Grove, CA)
Interview
Sat down and asked a series of basic questions. "how can you elevate the coffee experience for a guest?" for example. Employees are cool, hated working for Starbucks. Cool as a first job if you're still in school.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"how can you elevate the coffee experience for a guest"
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
