      Software Dev Interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm

      Interview

2 interviews, both were panels of 2-3 ppl each 1st was mostly behavioral. At the end, they asked your familiarity with xyz technology and rate your expertise in it. 2nd round was on-site where they delved more into concepts about programming like OOP, polymorphism, inheritance, class design (not design patterns just stuff that makes a good class), etc

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

General questions like describe a time when you did this and those were all the questions in the first round which occurred at my university. In the second round which was on-site for me, they asked a bit more technical questions like define oop, inheritance, coupling etc but didn't make me do any coding. Rather, they gave a code snippet and told me to analyze it to answer their question. Pretty chill interview.
