I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at State Street (Tokyo) in Aug 2024
Interview
It was really quick interview. I shared my passion for markets with HR in the first round. I asked her what's the process coming up, she told me there's only one more interview lined up. In the second round, I met with Fukuoka and Tokyo managers, they asked about my background, and asked about market headline for the day. Then they were pretty satisfied with my background. The rest of the interview was basically descriptions of each office and see which one I would like to go.
No technical questions for this position.
Mostly 1 round interview. Followed by HR round where salary would be discussed. You must know about the role you’re applying to and make sure you prepare well for the interview. The interview is mostly taken by the reporting manager or VP.

Interview
I was told there'd be a couple rounds of interviews but in the end there was only one. After that it took a month or so before their HR team based in India contacted me saying I had been shortlisted for the role.
