      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at State of Florida (Tallahassee, FL) in Aug 2024

      Interview

The interview involved a program and regional director. They inquired about my entire work history and wanted to know why I transitioned from one job to another. My background includes the military, education, financial services and program management. It lasted over and hour and at times felt more like an inquisition than an attempt to see if I was compatible with the organization.

      Question 1

What exactly is my niche? They felt that the diversity of my work experiences might/could be seen as a liability.
