A complete waste of time, disorganization, and lack of professionalism. The initial contact was through LinkedIn, and a first assessment interview round was scheduled. From the beginning, the selection process was full of red flags.
In the first round, the recruiter arrived about 10 minutes late; just when I was about to disconnect, she joined, and the interview proceeded normally. In the second and final round with the client, the client did not showed up. When I contacted the recruiter, I was informed that the client had rescheduled the interview for another day, but I was never notified, leaving me waiting. Despite this lack of communication, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and agreed to reschedule.
Instead of receiving a formal calendar invitation, they simply sent me a Teams link with the time written in the message... something that does not align with industry professional standards. It's the first time in my entire career that I’ve received an invitation in such a way.
After the final interview with the client, I was told by the recruiter that I would receive an update in a couple of days. However, after a week, I sent a respectful follow-up and received no response. I tried again the next day... and again, no reply. I was ghosted without even the basic courtesy of closing the process.
This experience reflects a deep lack of professionalism and respect for the candidates' time and effort, as well as clear disorganization. I understand that not being selected is a natural part of any process, but ghosting a candidate after multiple interview rounds is simply unacceptable.
I hope my experience serves as a warning for other applicants to carefully consider whether to apply to work with this company.
