I was interviewed by an panel of three people, each from their own respective area of the firm. It turns out they posted a BA role but didn't know what they were really looking for. The interview was awkward to say the least, namely because they quickly realized I was ridiculously overqualified for the position.
Their office was dingy and outdated which didn't leave a good impression. When interview was over I was left in a conference room as no one had the common courtesy to see me to the door. That was what truly resonated with me. In hindsight I should have never accepted the interview to begin with given their glassdoor rating in Chicago is below 2.0.
After the interview I spoke with several people I know in the industry and they all said FC Stone is know to be a total cluster.
