I have to say this was one of the most tedious processes that ended with the most unprofessional interview I have ever had. I applied based on 2 internal referrals and reached the final interview before the case study. I felt as though the person I was interviewing with wrote me off as soon as I turned on my camera. They opened the interview on their phone in their car, and I had to wait 10 minutes for them to get to a spot where they had cell service. When they finally came on, they asked me two generic questions I had already been asked in my initial interview, stated they didn’t look at my resume, and then said that I’m lucky to catch them now because they were a lot meaner 10 years ago. They proceeded to complain and talk poorly on their current employees and continuously reminded me that they had nearly 200 people apply for the position. They would barely look at the camera or acknowledge anything I said, and did not ask me anything about the medical devices that I had been told to prep for and I had spent the prior 48 hours crunching and memorizing. I was then asked "What do you know about me then?? We'll see if you actually did your research!" after the only two generic questions I was asked during the entire interview, and when they were pressed to ask me more, they bluntly refused. I do not feel as though they attempted to even get to know me better which was surprising after getting so far in the process. The way I was treated was a bummer considering the hours I dedicated to this process and my genuine excitement about the role but made me realize maybe I don’t want to work for this company.
