I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Stryker
Interview
The process is strenuous for an internship. You interview at the university level, then take the Gallup (45-60 minute phone interview), and do a loop interview with a few teams. My final round interview was virtual but they typically fly you to the office to meet your team.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to work with someone who did not like you and how did you respond?
There was one in-person interview with mostly behavioral questions. The only technical part was a simplified system design that related to some of the scientific work that you might expect to see at a medical technology company.
Good! Recruiter was very nice and the whole process took about 2 weeks once I started interviewing with the recruiter. I then interviewed with the hiring manager and a member of the team. The entire process took about a month from time of application to start of the interview with the recruiter, although I've heard that some wait a couple of months before receiving an interview.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Stryker
Interview
Many different interviews, I ultimately was rejected and still interviewed with 7 different groups. You will have several interviews with their talent acquisition team but the interviews only get somewhat difficult when you interview with the team you will be working with.
