Interview
Applied online, 1st interview with recruiter which went great. She actually suggested a better opportunity from the one I applied for based on my experience. It was the hiring manager interview that was handled poorly. I found her to be very unprofessional. Joined the call after the start time, dressed casually, clearly in her home, eating her lunch throughout the 25 minutes she spoke with me. She was very disinterested and it was clear she was not interested before we ever started. Stryker is known for hiring young, good looking, mostly male sales reps. Look, I get it, but when my resume says over 20 years experience and you know you won't hire me, don't waste my time with scheduled interviews. I will not pursue a career with Stryker, especially not a 100% commission position where ZERO%%% of your business expenses are covered, not even the use of your personal vehicle or gas across a 2.5 hour territory radius. Best of luck to whomever lands in this role. The previous rep lasted one year.

Interview
Recruiter Screen - Recruiter was new but friendly. Stryker screens for hunter mentalities, speak to that and you will pass.
Hiring Manager Virtual Call - Role specific questions, how you’ll build territory, sales success
Gallup - 30 minute rapid fire interview. I don’t mind Gallup but believe it’s odd that they can’t provide feedback or clarification on questions they ask.
Made it through two rounds of interviews with no concerns and had each party confident to move me along to the next step, but then was told they were pursuing other applicants.
It was a very informative and great interview process. A lot of interviews but enjoyed getting to know more about the team and company. I think it was 4-5 rounds.
