I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Success Academy Charter Schools (New York, NY) in Jun 2019
Interview
The entire process was very fast. In total, from the time the recruiter reached out to receiving an offer, it took 1 week. A recruiter reached out to me & we spoke on the phone. I applied in June & was invited for an interview. The group interview had about 14-16 people. They encouraged us to get to know each other and that we were not competitors but more like colleagues. Started off with an introduction to Success & an opportunity for comments. We were split into groups. We then went to another room with different recruiters to discuss the importance of behavior management based on the pre-work video. Next, we did a role play where you give a correction to a student. Seems like they want you to match what is done in the video. Listen closely to the feedback given to everyone and make improvements accordingly during your second turn. Speak confidently and with authority. We had a break and then moved on to poem analysis and one on one interviews. Poem analysis was easy & just your basic questions regarding the meaning of the poem. One on one was also very straight forward. All in all I had a positive experience. It was pretty low stress and their recruitment team is very friendly. They make it pretty clear that this is a big commitment.

Group interview with behavioral and then also a sample of discipline. We were asked typical behavioral interview style questions like tell me about yourself, name a time you failed.
