I initially applied online via Indeed. I was contacted 2 weeks later via phone. The phone call consisted of an overall outline of the role, job duties, and the company wanted to see if I’d be a fit. I was then told I would have my resume forwarded to the supervisors and if it was a “go” they’d interview me in-person. I received another phone call a week later and we scheduled the 2nd interview in-person which consisted of a 2 individual-panel. The interview went well, it was very personable and detailed. I was able to get a feel of the company, culture, and expectancies of the role as well as ask questions. After the interview, it was told to me that I would hear back from them and/or HR. Unfortunately, “ghosting” candidates has become widespread and I never heard from anyone even after following-up and emailing HR. The position was then reposted on Indeed. I expected more from Sunstates Security in this regard.
