      Inventory Analyst Interview

      Mar 1, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at SupplyHouse.com in Feb 2022

      Interview

Long process, way too formal and way too many steps for a low salary job. They have the process of a big 4 consulting firm when they're no where near that. Started with 15 minute phone screen to just verify I was still interested in the position. Next step was a 30 minute zoom interview with generic HR questions (why did you choose this field, why are you leaving your current position, what interested you about supply house, biggest weakness) Had to complete an assessment. Excel based forecasting problems, wasn't too difficult but definitely took some thought Moved on to 1.5 long zoom interview. First 30 minutes with HR, next 30 minutes with team lead, and last 30 minutes with lead and team member. Basically was asked the same basic HR questions. And we "went over" my assessment, it was very odd. I basically sat there and read aloud my answers and received no feedback. Got an email 2 days later saying that another candidate was chosen, but I think after the 1.5 hour interview there is a 2 hour long interview. just way too much going on for a simply role

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What is your biggest weakness? How will your skills make you successful at this position? What are you excel capabilities? Describe a scenario where you and a co-worker had a conflict / different point of view on things and how you resolved it.

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at SupplyHouse.com (New York, NY) in Feb 2017

      Interview

The interview process was fairly straightforward, I was interviewed two times. The first round was the HR round and I was supposed to be interviewed by two members of the HR team, after the First member was done I was told that the second member was in a meeting and could not make it so the team manager comes in for the interview, the interview went great and I was approached for a second round. In the second round, I was interviewed by the second HR member, Team Lead, COO and CEO. Everyone was a delight to interview with but the CEO seemed least interested in the interview. Now the most important part, all through the interviews I asked everyone what a perfect candidate for this opening would look like and I was told that a fit in the culture was the most important aspect they considered in the hiring process And when I was sent the rejection email 2+ weeks after the second interview was done. I was told that they found someone more qualified that me for the job. Seriously???
