I got reached by a SurveyMonkey recruiter in LinkedIn and after a first quick screening call I was given a list of 30+ positions to go through and select the ones I would like to start the process.
A few days after the selection of a few fitting positions there were a technical interview. It was an one hour interview with a few questions and some coding. The challenge proposed was to consume a SurveyMonkey api with the programing language I felt most comfortable.
Almost a week later I got another call from the recruiter stating I had passed the technical interview and there was a manager whiling to talk to me for a position out of the initial selection. It was a bit out of my profile, and even though I let they know that they still pushed to move forward with it.
The interview with the hiring manager was fine. No hard questions and just an easy and simple computer science problem.
The end.
You might be asking "how's that the end?", that's simple: I got ghosted after that. Even after trying following up two weeks later I never got a response from the recruiter. I probably won't blame the entire company, but this quite frustrating and shows a bit how unprofessional some recruiters can be.
Good luck!
