Overall the process with Momentive was great - I was referred by an employee and was able to have an initial chat with the recruiter.
First interview was a technical screen with an engineer through CodeSignal (online code pairing). The challenge itself wasn't too difficult - had to fetch data and render results. The API wasn't returning results, so we had to debug together and realized something was up with the API call. The interviewer was very helpful and never blamed me for the fault of the software. They were very nice and had great things to say about Momentive.
Next was a virtual onsite - I had two technical interviews (another live coding exercise that was building upon my previous challenge, adding more features while pairing with two engineers and then a system design interview).
The final interview was a values/culture interview with two managers asking about my experience and what I value in a job, company, etc.
Everyone was very nice, the recruiter was there for me at every step, and was willing to hop on a call to update me.
I had one last call with my now manager to make sure the team was a good fit.
