I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Susquehanna International Group (Boston, MA) in Sep 2016
Interview
First an interview in person, then an interview over the phone. For the first interview, it began with questions about myself, why SIG, went over resume, and then went straight into technical questions, 4 or 5 that mainly hinged on expected values. Then the phone interview were more technical questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked to not share. General idea is about expected values, probability questions, bayes' rule. If you know how to find the expected value under different circumstances, you should be fine. They wanted to see your thought process and speed probably counted.
smooth and enjoyable, the process lasted 8 weeks, online, 2 HR rounds, then in person at the end. Very positive, would recommend applying early in the season when opens up, now may need a masters to get in.
There was one or two phone screens, focusing on probability questions. The superday had a few interviews all focusing on probability questions or basic game theory. During the super day , there was a board game played with other super day candidates
