Interview
Receive the phone call from HR three days after the online application. The HR interview was standard, questions about your background and future plan etc. The second round was quantitative interview. A quant called me two days after, and asked me several quantitative questions about statistics, dice rolling, game theory etc.

Question 1
Play rock, scissor and paper. If you win by rock, you get 2 points, if you win by paper or scissor, you get one point. If you are tie, you get zero point. Provide a strategy that you can get more points than your rival.

The interview was online over Zoom. Started with standard questions on why do you want to work here and why would you be a good fit. Then most of the interview was performing a maths problem.

A problem on Bayes theorem with multiple extensions. By the end (and under interview conditions) it got slightly tricky.

Just the paper test part, it's quite hard and need to be strong in math. You will need to do dozens of problem-solving math problems. Time is tight, and you need to be time sensitive, or you will miss several questions.

Interview
The interview process was smooth, with clear communication. Technical questions were challenging but fair, and interviewers were friendly. Timely updates were provided, but waiting between stages felt a bit long.
