I applied online. I interviewed at Susquehanna International Group (Philadelphia, PA) in Sep 2019
Interview
Applied online, got back to me in 1-2 weeks asking for a phone screen. Didn't make it through the phone screen.
I think I need to prepare for such standard hedge fund questions.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Suppose you want to gamble in Vegas. In a game, you win $x if the number is prime and lose $x/2 if composite. The number is uniformly randomly generated by a machine between 1 and 10 inclusive. Will you play this game?
Follow up: What if you can play n number of times and then stop. Will you play it?
Suppose you have ten dies with six faces each. If you randomly throw these dies, what the probability that the sum of all the top faces is divisible by 6?
Suppose you are given a cube, you break the cube in 3X3X3 pieces. However, before doing so, all 6 faces of the cube were colored green. All the other faces not colored green will be white after breaking it up. You randomly pick a small cube and see one face which is green. What is the probability that the cube is an edge cube?

Interview
The first hurdle in SIG’s interview process is an online assessment administered through Mercer | Mettl. It tests knowledge in mathematics, probability, and statistics. The assessment combines puzzles and probability questions, along with topics like expected value, combinatorics, and logic. Overall, it follows the standard quant interview format — probability and statistics are the most critical areas to master before sitting the test.
An online math test testing topics such as probability theory, basic logics and word problems that you need to do in a relatively short time. I was not invited for further interviews
General question such as background and motivation then 2-3 math questions based on probability and expected value. Difficult than OA. But overall, it is managable if you have done a proper review.
