I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Susquehanna International Group (Cambridge, MA) in Feb 2016
Interview
First round was an on campus interview lasting 30 minutes. Asked one question about my resume and how I heard about SIG and then dove straight into the technical questions. Questions were centered around probability.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
If you have two torpedoes, each with a 2/3 probability of sinking a ship, what is the probability that a ship is sunk after firing both? Follow up - If you know that the ship has been sunk, what is the probability that one or both hit the ship?
If we play a game where I start with 2 dollars and you start with one dollar, and I have a probability of 1/3 of winning a dollar from you and you have a 1/3 probability of winning a dollar from me, what is the probability that I win all of your money?
smooth and enjoyable, the process lasted 8 weeks, online, 2 HR rounds, then in person at the end. Very positive, would recommend applying early in the season when opens up, now may need a masters to get in.
There was one or two phone screens, focusing on probability questions. The superday had a few interviews all focusing on probability questions or basic game theory. During the super day , there was a board game played with other super day candidates
