I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Arlington, VA) in Sep 2012
Interview
The third party they use, Hireright, is terribly slow and inefficient. It takes an average of 2 interviews, 2 over the phone and 1 with the manager of the location you are applying for. Interview was basic and simple. If you are not lying in your resume and have the actual experience to back it up you are golden. General sales questions about presenting products and overcoming customers hesitations.

Question 1
Since i had always worked alone before, the only difficult question was :
Can you mention one situation in which you worked as part of a team to overcome a problem?
The interview felt relaxed and conversational. The interviewer asked clear, straightforward questions about my experience and goals. I felt prepared, confident, and comfortable throughout, making it an easy and positive experience overall.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Latham, NY) in Nov 2025
Interview
Over the phone quick easy. One with the TD and the current owner of the system, where we talked through the current state of affairs and what I'd do to fix it.
The second was with the Director of HR and the President, where we just had a conversation about values, culture, and what I was like as a person. They asked what my salary expectations were, I gave them my dream number.
