I applied online. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2024
Interview
After months of applying to different jobs, I finally got an email back. I first filled out a questionnaire and submitted a writing sample to the recruiter. After that step, I met directly with the hiring manager, who was a Director, for the 20 minute prescreen. Sadly, I didn’t make it past that but generally, the process was OK. my only complaint was when I emailed the recruiter after the,” thanks but no thanks “ email I asked if there was any feedback I could get. I understand this is not standard, but this is a problem I have with the industry at large. The time and effort that we put in as jobseekers sees very little respect and time and feedback from the companies that we hope to give our best to.

It was multiple rounds of virtual interviews. There was the initial phone screen, a couple were with cross-functional teams, and lastly with the hiring manager. It took a month or so to hear back about my application, and the interview process took about 2 weeks
