I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at T. Rowe Price (Baltimore, MD) in Jul 2018
Interview
I applied online and was contacted about a month later by a talent acquisition associate who set up a phone screening with a corporate recruiter. One day prior to my phone interview, I received an automated rejection email. After calling to confirm, I was informed that the email was a mistake and my interview was still on. The phone interview was easy and straight forwarded - nothing technical, basic walk me through your resume questions and why fixed-income / Baltimore / T. Rowe? After about 30 minutes I was told that the next round of interviews would be with the hiring manager and I needed to prepare at least 2 stocks to pitch. Two weeks later I emailed following up and got no reply. Three weeks later I followed up again and was told I would hear in the next few days --- 10 min. later I got the automated denial email.

Interview
I applied to the job the day it was listed on the site and received a questionnaire to determine eligibility. Filled out the questionnaire and was determined to be eligible and got sent a HireVue invite. I completed the HireVue Friday at 9pm. It was 5 questions with 2 retakes on each. Felt like I did pretty good. Sunday morning, ZERO business days later, I received a rejection email. I was excited that a fundamental role actually had some sort of assessment or way to show myself outside of tossing my resume into the void (quants are much better at this), but they aren't even watching these. I'm so tired man, I can't do this anymore... Questions below, God speed friends.
