I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at TELUS (Vancouver, BC) in Sep 2020
Interview
1. Hiring Manager Round
2. On-site
- Presentation to a panel of 3 or 4 ppl
- interview with panel
3. HR round
Overall it was mainly behavioral .
The problem for the presentation was an actual problem the team was facing. I had experience working in the same area so I came up with a strategy which involved
1. Listing the problems that were mentioned in priority
2. Picking a problem that I wanted to solve.
3. Showing who the customers would be for that
4. Value add to those customers
5. Edge cases
6. Metrics to measure success
7. Go to market strategy

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at TELUS (Calgary, AB) in Apr 2026
Interview
Smooth and professional. Communication timed, clear and transparent. Salary range was shared in the first interview which was good. Second phase was setup nicely with a breakdown of how the interview was going to go
All remote: one interview with hiring manager, one interview with HR, one interview with team member, one panel interview with prepared case (presentation). Overall met great people and found the process to be smooth.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at TELUS (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2024
Interview
It was a joke. The Hiring manager basically (and quite openly admitted) wanted to get information about my past company (a competitor). She went all the way asking for the financials and product pipeline. lol.
