I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TJ Maxx in Apr 2012
Interview
In person interview at one of their hiring events before the new store location launched and then a follow-up phone interview in which the position was offered to me. Very simple, the interview process did not consist of any difficult questions. Really only consisted of filling out an application online ahead of time and then again in person at the hiring event. Once meeting with someone it was a casual conversation. We'll see how the position goes as I have never worked at TJ Maxx before. Hopefully it is a positive experience! As far as the interview process is concerned it was a breeze and they were extremely friendly and made me very comfortable.

Question 1
What do you find most challenging when managing others?
Pretty ordinary interview, asked questions like why do you want to work here? Where do you see yourself in a few years? Etc.. They like seeing if you have open availability and willingness to learn despite not having experience.
I applied online. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Wooster, OH)
Interview
A pretty straight forward interview process. Overall just getting a feel for if the candidate is a good fit for the culture and store. It helps if the individual interviewing has open availability since this can make a difference depending oon the time of year the candidate is interviewing.
