I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Wilmington, NC) in Sep 2017
Interview
The application and interview process was brief but included extensive background information. 5/5 stars, would recommend.
I first received a personal telephone conference call via my telephone, and they informed me that the company (TJ Maxx) was interested in scheduling an interview with me, conducted by them. I was very very very surprised!
The in-person interview, with the staff from TJ Maxx, was brief but fair. I did well, of course, and was offered the position at TJ Maxx as an Associate and as a Cashier.
It was quick and easy. Very straight forward, but thorough. It was in person and I got a call the next day that i was hired. This was three years ago so it might be different now.
The interview consisted of A brief Phone screen followed by an in person interview that lasted about 30 minutes. Questions were relayed to experience from last jobs and responding to customer service scenarios.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Fort Worth, TX)
Interview
Very simple and easy and immedietly got an offer. Although I had very open availability and I speak spanish. Questions were mostly about how to handle stress or certain situations and also availaibility.
