I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (North Haven, CT) in Nov 2014
Interview
You interview with two managers, a store assisstant manager first and then the store manager. They check for retail history. Ultimately, they are constantly looking for employees, so the interview is not tough at all and more so a formality. Im pretty confident you can get the job with personality (and retail experience) alone. Even if you are not sure in what capacity you would like to work, they will place you. The entire process took about a week and a half.

Question 1
I remember them asking what was one aspect of retail you liked/disliked. They also asked what kind of area you would like to work in.

It was quick. I applied online, They called within a week. I spoke briefly with someone. They explained the process of getting started and some of the information about the store. They inquired about my experience when I’d be able to start
