Interview
After applying, I was asked by a manager to come back and sit for an interview a few days later. I was asked several questions about my previous jobs, why I chose TJMaxx, what I liked best and least about working in sales and customer service, what my availability was, whether I was considering TJMaxx as a full time career, etc. After the interview concluded, she let me know that they were in the process of interviewing several applicants for the upcoming seasonal positions and that if I didn't hear back in a few weeks, to look elsewhere.
It was a two parter, one on the phone, and one in person. It was a typical interview with the standard "why do you want to work here" and then what they expect from you as a employee.
Very straightforward and simple. It was a phone call with the hiring manager. Super easy peasy, nothing to stress about. Just be confident and kind. It took all of maybe half an hour, maybe less.
It was quick. I applied online, They called within a week. I spoke briefly with someone. They explained the process of getting started and some of the information about the store. They inquired about my experience when I’d be able to start
